Nice sound
I listened to a sony for $15.00 more than this and the sound was the same,the sony did have a cassette player but who uses it these days?I am very happy with the Emerson,the price with tax was under $38.00 at Sears.
Perfect for the Office
I purchased this radio for my office at work. And it is just right. The sound is clear. It is loud enough. I get almost no static at all. And that's pretty good for a small portable radio. I am able to get all of the stations I want on both AM and FM. I've had mine for about 4 months now. It is a good solid radio for a reasonable price.
I would not recommend this CD player
I am not very impressed with this player, the cd lid gets stuck all the time so I have a hard time retrieving my cd's. The radio stations don't come in very clear, and there is a great deal of static.
