Easy to use, this unit includes all the basic features and lets you listen to your CDs or the radio anywhere you happen to be, with a sound that is surprisingly full and rich from a player of this size.
The CX-CD445 features a 45-second anti-skip memory so you can listen to uninterrupted music even over rough roads. This unit also features a programmable track memory that lets you pre-program tracks from a compact disc to play in any order, as well as four different play modes. This top-loading CD player has a frequency response of 20-20,000Hz to -2dB, and a one-bit digital-to-analog audio converter that provides for more accurate playback and a more natural, distortion-free CD sound. This player utilizes a Digital Bass Boost System that provides clear bass sounds even at lower volumes, and wow and flutter is below measurable limits while audio is kept clear with eight-times over sampling.
The CX-CD445's PLL digital tuning system lets you listen to both AM and FM radio with easy drift-free tuning, and features 20 station-memory presets that use electronic settings for easy one-button tuning to your choice any one of 10 AM- or 10 FM-radio stations.
This portable player includes a low-battery indicator, as well as an automatic power-off function to save your batteries when not in use. The included digital neckband in-ear headphones connect via a standard 3.5 millimeter audio jack, while the unit runs on either two AA batteries or the included 110-volt AC/DC power adapter. As an added feature, rechargeable batteries can be recharged while in the player if the unit is left plugged in. The unit measures 5 x 5.25 x 1 inches (WxDxH) and weighs 0.66 pounds without batteries.
